Our knits are designed and crafted to last—with a little bit of care, your knit should remain a permanent part of your wardrobe for many, many years to come. To give you extra comfort, each knit is covered under Our Care Guarantee that covers damages from normal wear and tear, faulty material or poor workmanship.
If your knit needs a few stitches or to get back into shape, we’ll help you out by providing some tips on how to best care for your garment and even how to mend it yourself if you’re feeling brave enough. You can find some tips on garment care here.
We’ll also cover you if you get your knit mended locally which helps us to save on extra shipping.
Or you can send it to our Knit Clinic and we’ll restore it as best we can. Even in 50 years when we’re only wearing NFTs, you will still be able to send your knit back to us.
By wearing our garments longer, we reduce the need to buy new clothes and thereby reduce our carbon footprint. It is currently estimated that, in the UK, the average lifetime for an item of clothing is 2.2 years and the average number of times a garment is worn has decreased by 36% compared to 15 years ago. So Sheep Inc. set a goal to design garments to last for generations.
