The Product Journey Unravelled

The Art of Meticulous Selection:
Our product journey started long before wool touched the knitting machine. It began with a rigorous hunt, not for materials, but for allies. Each partner is handpicked not just for their exceptional quality and sustainable standards but for sharing our vision of a better fashion future.
Regenerative Wool from New Zealand
We don’t settle for just any wool. Our selection is hand-picked, using only the finest fibres from pioneering regenerative farms. These farms aren’t just sustainable; they actively work to rejuvenate the soil and environment.
Scouring in Italy
Here, our wool undergoes a transformation. It’s meticulously cleaned and combed into tops at the first B-Corp registered textile mill in Italy. But the process isn’t just about refining wool—it’s a nod to our commitment to Earth. The water purification standard at this facility is so advanced that the water released post-processing is purer than what entered.
Spinning in Italy and Bulgaria
Once combed, the tops transition into yarn. Our partners employ a unique and eco-friendly process called Eternity X-Care®, which forgoes the chlorine commonly used in wool processing and instead adheres to the stringent Bluesign standards.
Knitting in Portugal and Romania
The yarn then finds its form. With artisanal knitters in Portugal and Romania, every stitch is a testament to experience and expertise. Merging tradition with technology, they utilise advanced Japanese knitting machines, ensuring precision in every knit. And this fusion of art and innovation isn’t just limited to the process; the machines run purely on solar and renewable energy. Each piece, once crafted, carries a unique hand-finished touch—a “smit mark” detail, symbolising our dedication to perfection.
Keeping our Carbon Footprint in Check:
We’re global in our approach, but conscious of our impact. As our wool travels across countries, we ensure it does so sustainably. Utilising only ocean transport, our carbon footprint stands at 0.8 kg per kg of wool. This figure is dwarfed when juxtaposed against the -14kg of CO2e our wool helps sequester at its source. Read more about transport here.

It’s more than a journey—it’s our manifesto, spelled out in each garment.
