Why we include a sheep?
This sheep could be yours.
Yes. We really do include a sheep. A fluffy adoptee from one of the same New Zealand farms your sweater’s wool is from.

We track your sheep’s goings on through an RFID tag in its ear. And keep you up to date on its general life events. From its whereabouts, to when it’s been shorn, to when it’s had lambs.

To see where your sheep is or access the provenance of your knitwear, simply tap the NFC tag with your phone. It’s our way of bringing you back in touch.
005 The Hoodie CO2 Footprint:
-1.94kg
Each piece of knitwear we create, naturally removes more CO2 from the atmosphere than its manufacturing produces. For the first naturally carbon negative footprint product in fashion. Without the need to offset.

To achieve this, we spearheaded a synergistic partnership across our suppliers and manufacturers. Using regenerative New Zealand farms to supply our wool and manufacturing in the EU using 100% solar power.

All CO2 footprint analysis is independently calculated and verified by Carbon Footprint Ltd.
Gift packaging.
All our knitwear is delivered in a brushed cotton storage bag. If the item is a gift, a gift box can be added to any sweater order. We’ll even tie a ribbon around the box.

For that personal touch, add a message for the giftee and we’ll print it onto a foiled card and hand-write the name onto the envelope.

To prevent the recipient from peeking too soon, we will seal the package with a sticker with special message.

5% revenue. 10x impact.
We want our knitwear to have a positive impact on the planet. That’s why, outside of working with sustainable suppliers and regenerative farms, we invest 5% of each sale into biodiversity projects around the world.

These projects mitigate, at minimum, 10x the gross carbon footprint of each sweater. Projects are chosen and audited by our climate crisis panel led by Pr. Mark Maslin, Head of Climatology at University College London.

To create knitwear that is part of the solution. Not part of the problem.
Why we include a Care kit?
Merino wool can look after itself. It’s spent a good few evolutionary cycles learning how. This means your sweater will resist stains, wrinkles and odours.

To get that new again feeling, every sweater comes with a sweater comb to give it the occasional groom. Just pass the comb over the knit to remove any unwanted fuzz or pills.

It also comes in a brushed cotton* storage bag. To store it and protect it, when it’s not in use. And you can choose from one of 3 limited edition bag linings.

Because good is in the detail.
*Made from 100%
recycled cotton.

Middlehurst station
Your sheep adoptee will be from Middlehurst station. A beautiful, biodiverse sheep Station covering 16,550 hectares in the Upper Awatere Valley on New Zealand’s South Island.

Middlehurst Station extends right to the top of the rugged Inland Kaikoura mountain range. And the rich biodiverse property ranges in altitude from 550 meters to 2,500 meters. Middlehurst’s owners, Willie and Susan Macdonald, moved in with their four kids over 20 years ago. It’s the ideal place to raise a family. And their Merino sheep. All 11,000 of them. Of which yours could be one. The Macdonald’s aim is to establish a sustainable, productive family farming business. And making sure high-country traditions are maintained and passed on. And most importantly, to continue to raise the bar of how a sustainable and modern farm can function and run.
Your sheep adoptee will be from Lake Hawea Station (LHS). A stunning 6505 Hectare property in New Zealand’s premier High Country, situated in the Queenstown Lake District.

LHS aims to develop a new approach to farming that puts the ecosystem first. With this aim, LHS has an ambitious sustainable vision - setting goals to protect and enhance their waterways, conserve and restore biodiversity and introduce regenerative farming practices. Your sweater purchase will contribute investment towards one of their biodiversity projects to plant 100,000 trees over the next ten years.
